Good News - Kim's Crane shopping cart is back on line. Not all the products are listed at this time and there may be errors or incomplete information. The shopping cart has been moved to a new location/ domain name: OrigamPapersAndBooks.com/catalog. We have tried to recreate as much of the look and feel of the old shopping cart, but with a change in software and lost reference, just so much can be done in the short time we have been working. Bad News - Starting 18 March 2008, Kim’s Crane will CLOSED until the end of April 2008 as we will be in the process of moving from our current physical location in Virginia to the state of Washington. The inventory has to be pack, shipped and then re-set up again in our new Washington location. We at Kim’s Crane apologize for this inconvenience. How does the move effect you?
1. During the move timeframe, (late March until late April) no orders will be shipped out. Orders may still be placed through the shopping cart, but do not expect your order to be shipped until the end of April. Orders placed during this time (late March until late April), will be processed in the sequence they are received.
2. After the move, all orders will be shipped from Washington State. The time require to receive your order may change.
3. State of Washington customers will be required to pay sales tax.
4. The new location in the state of Washington will allow Kim’s Crane to expand
our selection of products.

In 1995 Kim's Crane Origami Supplies opened for business on the Internet, with only a few items for sale. As the Internet came into vogue internationally, especially for business commerce, the demand for more unique Origami products also grew! Kim's Crane has tried to keep up with this demand, sometimes it is hard as the Internet now reaches worldwide into geographical areas never dreamed possible. We have over 1,300 origami related items in stock and will be adding more over the next year. As we spend several weeks a year on the international paper road look for new and unique Origami items, we always have fun finding wonderful Origami papers and books surprises that we can pass onto you, our valued customer. Many of our Origami paper products are useful for other non origami paper projects. Even if you do not do origami but need interesting papers for your art projects, we invite you to have a look around. These papers, we are finding out, are not used for just origami any more! Artists in areas as diverse as collage, tea bag folding, washi eggs, and kirigami but to name a few are finding our Origami papers additive. Kim's Crane is an Origami Supplies and Crafts business managed by a husband and wife team. Our goal is to provide the Origami community with the most extensive on-line selection of Origami papers, books (both English and non-English titles), video tapes, and related Origami items at some of the lowest prices available.
